Memes do not exist to please everybody. You might think that you're the center of the world and that every meme that comes across your computer or phone screen should cater to your specific interests. I'm here to tell you that memes aren't just so you can blow air out of your nose in silent amusement. They have their own lives, their own goals and ambitions! So many memes out there make you feel uneasy, melancholy, or enraged. Some memes have never made anyone laugh and never will because they never were that funny to begin with. The depth and breadth of this art form is so expansive and complex despite its juvenile reputation.
